Daria Kiseleva, COLLABORATIVE PIANIST

Daria Kiseleva debuted as a soloist with orchestra at age 10, performing the Mozart Concerto K246 in C Major. Winning First Prize of the prestigious IV BNDES International Piano Competition in 2014 brought her appearances with the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra de Experimental de Repertório, and a recital series in Sala Sao Paulo and Theatre Municipal of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; the prize also led to performances in the Weill Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall in New York as a Golden Key Music Festival Guest Artist, and in the Salle Cortot in Paris. In October 2015, she became Laureate of the Marguerite Long International Piano Competition, performing with the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris at Theatre of Champs Élysées. Honors include First Prize of Rotary Club International Piano Competition in Mallorca (concert series in Spain, Germany and France), performances in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, Salle Gauveau (Paris), 35 Londrina Festival and Festival VII Virtuosi Gravata (Brazil), Schlern Festival (Italy), Museum of Modern Art and Foundation Oscar Americano (Sao Paulo), and Aptos Keyboard Series (Monterey Bay, California).
Daria graduated from Moscow State Gnesin College in 2010 and continued her studies in studio of Andrei Diev at Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. Since 2014 she is based in Fort Worth, TX, USA. Awarded with prestigious Lay & Mattie Powell Piano Scholarship at TCU School of Music, Daria studied Artist Diploma degree in studio of Dr. Ungar. She continues her studies in Dr. Ungar’s studio pursuing DMA in Piano Performance degree. Daria’s other achievements include the 2009 National Competition “Young talents,” Moscow, Laureate; 2011 M. Yudina International Competition, Saint Petersburg, Third Prize; 2012 Shabyt International Competition, Astana, Grand Prix; 2013 International Rubinstein Chamber Competition, Moscow, Second Prize; 2014 Jean Francaix International Piano Competition, Moscow, Second Prize; LAAS award from TCU; 2018 Los Angeles International Piano Competition, IV Prize. She performed in the 53th Weimar Piano Festival (2011), Oxford Philomusica Festival (2013), and PianoTexas 2014 and 2016. In recognition of her endeavors in music, Daria was awarded with the Sviatoslav Richter (2005) and the Henrich Neuhauz (2010) Premias of the Rostropovich Foundation. Daria is the Gold Medalist in Solo and Concerto Division of the 2016 International Keyboard Odyssiad® & Festival (IKOF).
On May 1, 2017, Daria Kiseleva became the first Grand Prize Laureate of the Impromptu! Drozdoff Audition, and was featured in numerous recitals of Impromptu! Classical Music Recital Series season. 2019 brought her appearances with El Paso Symphony Orchestra in the collaboration with Maestro Bohuslav Rattay. As a winner of Second Prize at 22d International Piano Competition Mauro Monopoli Prize in Barletta, Italy (May 2019), Daria performed a concert tour in Italy in 2019-2020 season. In 2021 she won 3rd Weatherford College International Piano Competition and was featured in winner recital series at the Steinway Society of DFW.

RIley Smith, CMEP VOICE TEACHER

Riley Smith is a passionate educator and loves to help students achieve their personal musical
goals. He and his wife Katie are new to the DFW area. Prior to moving to Dallas, he worked as a
middle school choir director at La Porte ISD in the Houston area, where choirs achieved
excellence on the concert stage and received superior performance in the sight-reading room. A
native Mississippian, Riley earned both his B.M. and M.M. from the University of Mississippi. As
a choir student, he studied under award-winning conductor, Donald Trott.
As a voice student, Riley studied under Jennifer Robinson, Dr. Bradley Robinson, Dr. Jos Milton,
and was coached by Prof. Amanda Johnson at the University of Mississippi. He played
numerous roles in the Opera Theatre Program including Don Magnifico in La Cenerentola
(scenes program) and Bassa Selim in Die Entführung aus dem Serail (scenes program) as a
graduate student. As a choral singer, Riley has performed with the Houston Choral Society, The
Mississippi Chorus, and Jackson Choral Society (MS). Riley is thrilled to begin working with the
students of Centennial and help them grow in both their musical abilities and their passion for
singing!

Jordan Kuzmack, CMEP VOICE TEACHER

Jordan Kuzmack is an Educator who loves developing strong and confident musicians while maintaining a safe environment for personal growth.
Previously, Mr. Kuzmack served as the associate choir director at Marble Falls Middle School where he led the 6th grade and non-varsity ensembles. He has also taught voice lessons to people of all ages and had an area candidate while student teaching.
Mr. Kuzmack graduated from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and studied voice under Dr. Ross Bernhardt. He was a four year member of the university's top ensemble, Camerata Isla and was cast in opera roles such as Ace in Pinstripe Harry, Gepetto in Pinocchio, Mr. Turtle in the original cast of Olivia's Ocean, and the Toreador Prince in Carmenella. Mr. Kuzmack also performed as a tenor in the SWACDA Collegiate Honor Choir in 2022.
