Region & District Choir Clinic & Concert Information

Congratulations on your accomplishment and for being dedicated musicians within your choral program. You are a part of one of the strongest regions in the state and it is a privilege for you to be singing in the choirs performing on November 14th. Please take the opportunity to read this information yourself, with your director, and with your parents. It is very important that all details listed below are understood and carefully planned so that we can have a smooth and enjoyable day!
TMEA Region VII – Vocal Chair
Get a good night’s sleep before the Saturday Clinic / Concert so you are healthy and ready for a great day! Upon arrival, please read all posted signs and listen to adults that will be directing you to store your things for the day. There will be a place on site to store uniforms and personal belongings. Rehearsals/Warm-Up begins at 8:00AM.
You may bring snacks to eat during breaks. Please eat only in commons areas and put all trash where it belongs. There will not be concessions. ABSOLUTELY NO PEANUTS.
The concert will begin at 7PM. The concert is free and open to the public. Please let your parents know we will not open the doors for seating until 6:30PM. At the concert there will be DVD’s, T-shirts, plaques, and other memorabilia for purchase (cash, credit accepted)
Centennial HS Choir Information
Students will meet at CHS @ 6:30AM – Uniform, Music Check, etc.
Students will depart CHS @ 6:45AM
Arrive at Weatherford HS @ 7:45AM – Check In, Get Settled.
Students are strongly encouraged to ride home with their parents/family members from this event. All-students riding home with parents are required to check out with Mr. Cooley prior to departure. Those students needing a ride back to CHS, we will depart WHS at approximately 8:30PM. Arrival back at CHS will be around 9:40PM. We will call while en route.
