Greetings Choir Parents and Family Members,
I hope you are having a wonderful evening. Below is information important for the upcoming week. Please read and review the attachments to this message in addition to the updates below.
Varsity Men’s and Women’s Sectionals Continue This Week.
We are now entering the final week before our official competition, I would like to tell each of you that I could not be more proud the work you are accomplishing during our time together. The commitment to excellence and overall musical expression is refreshing and inspiring. Women’s Rehearsal is on Monday (TOMORROW) at 4:30PM and Men's Rehearsal is on Tuesday at 4:30PM. Please make all necessary arrangements to attend these rehearsal’s. Let’s keep up the good work
UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Performance
As we prepare for department’s upcoming assessment, it is critical that students are getting plenty of rest, water, and are making every effort to be present at school each day leading up to our contest. Please make sure that students are washing hands and taking every precaution to remain healthy for their performance and the end of this academic grading period. We want them prepared to do their best academically and musically as this six weeks draws to a close.
Additionally, it is important that students make sure that any issues with uniforms are addressed this week. Please make sure that all garments fit properly and are freshly pressed for competition performance next week. All students will review appropriate attire and hair guidelines this week in class. Men’s shirts may be laundered and ironed at home.
The Performance Schedule for all students competing in this year’s UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Assessment (April 12-13th) has been attached to this email for your convenience.
Texas Rangers Concession Stand Fundraising Opportunities

This is an excellent opportunity for Parents and students interested in getting ahead on next year’s choir or trip expenses. Families interested in this opportunity should contact Jodi Lynn McGee at email@example.com ASAP for more information.

Save the Date! — This year’s awards banquet and student celebration will be on Saturday, May 21st at Centennial High School. All students are encouraged to attend this event as we enjoy a meal, celebrate their achievements, distribute awards, announce officers, and recognize our seniors in on final hurrah before the year comes to a close. This year’s theme will be “Under the Sea.” Information related to tickets and guests will be released in the coming weeks.
