Eric Cooley, Director
Eric Cooley is in his second year as Director of Choirs at Centennial High School and his 11th year of teaching.
Mr. Cooley holds a Bachelor of Music Education, magna cum laude, from Baylor University and a Master’s in Choral Music Education at Florida State University.
Prior to his arrival at Centennial High School in the fall of 2013, Mr. Cooley served as the assistant director of choirs at LD Bell High School in Hurst, TX. While at LD Bell, choirs under his direction were consistent "Sweepstakes" recipients at UIL Concert & Sight-Reading Contest and were frequently named "Best-In-Class" at local, regional, and national festivals. In addition to these duties, Mr. Cooley served as the director of the HEB ISD Elementary Honor Choir during the 2011 and 2012 school years during which time his students received invitations to perform with the TCU Concert Choirs and at the Capitol in Austin for Arts Education Day.
Professionally, Mr. Cooley maintains active membership in the Texas Music Educator's Association, the American Choral Director’s Association, the Texas Choral Director's Association, and the Music Educator's National Conference.

Linda Stringer, Accompanist
Linda Stringer has loved music for as long as she can remember. She has been playing the piano since the age of 8 and performed her first vocal solo in the fifth grade. She has taught piano since she was 17 years old and accompanied her high school chorus. She also began playing the piano and singing for church services when in high school.
Linda graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree with choral emphasis and holds a Texas Teacher Certificate and a Florida Teacher Certificate for K-12 Music. Although most of her school teaching experience has been on the preschool and elementary level, Linda has been the pianist for several high school choirs and musicals and church choirs and musicals. She has also done extensive accompanying for UIL Solo and Ensemble for both choral and band students. Linda has taught private piano and voice for 35+ years and served as director for Northwoods Center for the Arts while living in Tallahassee, Florida.
Linda and her husband, Reid, met at Baylor and have been married for 38 years. Together they have five children, ages 25 to 33 who all enjoy performing music in various capacities. Reid and Linda love spending time with family and especially enjoy their five precious grandchildren.
